Business analyst supports the development of training material, participates in the implementation, and provides post-implementation support. According to DOU.UA, the average 28 year old business analyst with 3 years of work experience receives $1300 – 2500.



A person with extensive knowledge of mathematics and the theory of algorithms. It’s a specialist who analyses large amounts of data and builds models for decision making based on them. A Data Science specialist doesn’t have to be a programmer, but a machine learning (ML) specialist uses programming languages such as Java, Phyton or R for developing self-learning algorithms  that make computers more intelligent and able to solve complex problems. That kind of a specialist has a 10-15% higher salary than the salary of a programmer.



A person that develops technical documentation (manuals, auxiliary materials etc.) for different kind of programming products and services. According to DOU.UA, average technical writter that has 28 years and 3,5 years of work experience receives $400 – 1400.



A person who manages projects of a company: designing and determining priorities, planning and control on tasks implementations, communication and rapid problem solving. Most of the Ukrainian IT PM specialists worked as programmers in the past. According to DOU.UA, in Ukraine project manager that has 28 years and 3,8 years of work experience receives on average $2000.



Is a person who is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems; especially multi-user computers, such as servers. The system administrator seeks to ensure that the uptimeperformanceresources, and security of the computers he or she manages meet the needs of the users, without exceeding the budget. According to DOU.UA average system administrator in Ukraine that has 27 years and 5,5 years of work experience receives $600 – 1800.



Junior programmer knows one language of programming very well (C#, C++, Java, Ruby, Python, Javascript, або PHP), works under supervision of more experienced colleague for elaboration of individual subsystems of software. In a year he or she can grew to the Middle level worker, and in 3-4 years become Senior. Salary of a programmer in Ukrainian IT companies ranges from $600 - $3000, depending on the level of qualification.



Is a specialist of human-computer interaction. He or she analyses the needs of software user, designes scenarios of user interaction with the product, designes information architecture, develop interface prototypes, provides usability. Frequently he or she develops graphic design interface, visual brand design. Salary of a UX specialist ranges $800 – $1500.



A person that tests and ensures the quality of software development, detects errors and eliminates defects of the product collaborating with a team of programmers. According to DOU.UA in Ukraine a quality control engineer that has 26 years with work experience from 6 months (Junior) to 5 years (Senior) receives $600 – $2700.
