A person with extensive knowledge of mathematics and the theory of algorithms. It’s a specialist who analyses large amounts of data and builds models for decision making based on them. A Data Science specialist doesn’t have to be a programmer, but a machine learning (ML) specialist uses programming languages such as Java, Phyton or R for developing self-learning algorithms  that make computers more intelligent and able to solve complex problems.
